The Shakespeare Project

The Shakespeare Project is for youth and teens ages 9-18 who want a unique, fun acting and arts experience.  Youth make lifetime friends and learn the exciting art of Shakespeare.

The Shakespeare Project begins on Saturday, February 8 with an American Players Theatre (APT) workshop at the Monroe Arts Center from 10am-4pm.  Join us as we spend the day exploring improv acting and the world of Shakespeare with actor David Daniel.  Lunch included.

Then the Shakespeare Project meets each Tuesday, February 11 through Tuesday, May 27 from 4pm-6pm.  No meeting on Tuesday, April 15.

Youth perform a public performance at the Monroe Arts Center of Shakespeare scenes May 21.
